dying earth is a video created by my friend atas for youtube cannes young lion video and viral competition. i didn’t pay much attention to the competition, but check out her creativity in the making of this one minute video. equipment limitations never be a block for atas, fyi: she captured all motion pictures, recorded the whistle, and finally edited the video in post production, totally only using her cell phone! but that’s not yet the best part. it’s her concern for the climate change that’s important. i decided to relay her video in this blog with a hope to inspire more people to act more environmentally friendly

salah satu kelemahan kamera digital kelas poket adalah low dynamic range. maksudnya nggak mampu nangkep semua detail pd range lebar: kalo ngambil fokus di bagian terang, bagian gelapnya jadi keliatan item. kalo fokus di bagian gelap, bagian terangnya putih. makanya, dg kamera poket nggak usah maksa nangkep gambar demikian. sebaliknya, kamera poket masih bisa asik buat dimain2kan dg metering spot. kadang bisa menghasilkan siluet cakep (imho).

beberapa ngira lagu ini lagu barat, padahal asli karya seni produksi dalam negeri. yg pernah denger rindunya karimata nggak akan merasa asing dg musiknya. bedanya, di album jèzz ini minus suara saksofon, diganti vokal phil perry.

jazz romantis yg satu ini jadi terasa artistik, enak didenger, dan walopun agak nge-blue tapi nggak pernah berkesan cengeng. sip sekali diapresiasi sambil nyeruput kopi tanpa gula di pagi buta, sama sepotong gedang goreng anget. atau buat nenyelamatkan mood ketika batal hunting foto gara2 macet gara2 banjir gara2 ujan deres.
